Women In Touch United (WITU) which is a subsidiary of the Balham Pentecostal Church (BPC) and its membership are open to Born-again Women from various assemblies.
Our aim and Objectives
- To be a network of spiritual, practical and financial support to Fellow Christians and Ministers of our Lord Jesus Christ by prayer and fasting, outreach ministry, fundraising where necessary for such cause.
- To provide a care facility for the terminally ill Christians. (A Home from Home atmosphere)
The group was launched on 13 September 2007. Our meeting are held on the 4th Thursday of each month.
Achievements to date:
WIT has held a number of seminars i.e.
- Being a Good Parent
- Mental Health
- Will Writing and Probate
- Stroke and Diabetes
- Talent Awareness and Rallys
- Taught Stewardship and Responsibilities
With the help of God, the Group was able to purchase a property in Thornton Heath which will be used as a care home to care for terminally ill Christians.
As stewards of our Lord Jesus Christ, we aim to exercise the gifts and responsibilities given to us that God will be glorified in all our endeavours.
